Who is Toni Hendrix-Green?
Mrs. Toni R. Hendrix-Green has worked in the medical field in one capacity or another since 1987. Starting out as a volunteer in Houston's Sunnyside at the local clinic, she learned the importance of giving back to the community as well as developing a strong work ethic. She went on to work for one of the largest insurance companies in Texas and then for one of the largest hospital systems in the Greater Houston Area. Her experience has been gained through positions in the medical front office, clinical back office, clerical/administrative, technical, and provider relations, as well as in both insurance (NCQA) and hospital credentialing (JACHO).
With a passion for community service, she created her first non-profit organization (New Power Houston) in 1999. Exercising leadership skills that she learned from participating in four years of N.J.R.O.T.C at her Alma Mater, James A Madison Senior High School (Houston, TX). She and her members hosted several social services events (health and safety, nutritional, social, and educational) for school-aged children (underprivileged and latchkey) in the Hiram Clarke area of Houston. In May 2015, Mrs. Hendrix-Green launched her second non-profit organization (The Faces of the Village, Inc.). Branded as a health & wellness advocate for seniors 55+, this objective falls in line with her educational goals. She is an honor graduate of the University of Texas of the Permian Basin with a B.A. in Psychology (Sociology minor). She has gained extensive knowledge about business (for-profit and non-profit) by creating opportunities that have resulted in a supplemental income while doing things that bring her joy. Toni is now working on becoming certified as a lifestyle modification coach, but that doesn't mean that she cannot help you today.
